"A paragon of pain" The words used to describe the Fairbairn Cup race, held at the end of Michaelmas Term for us masochistic types that think getting up at 6am and getting frosty knuckles is a great idea. Under the great coaching wings of Geoff and James T, the Selwyn Mens' VIII Novice III crew were nurtured and coaxed into a fully fledged racing team. Hurrah! And race we did: rowing the 2.7km course in 13 minutes and one second we survived and feasted on the endorphine rush generated, feeling valiant and abso-damn-lutely fantastic at the end of it.

And tonight, just to round off term, is the Selwyn Snowball. Free drink for six hours. Eight-hundred attending. It's gonna be one big awesome party! See back for photos / horror stories....

Listening to: Christmas music. # You scumbag, you maggot, you cheap lousy faggot!#
The Crew! The Crew!
