Ohmygodwhat'shappeningaaaaaargh!yay! I am here! In fact, it's approaching a week since arrival, and this is the first time I've had time (actually I don't... this is avoiding work...) to sit at the computer and communicate with the world. Looking out of my window, I can see several people at desk on the other side of the block, and they are really working it seems. I should take inspiration from this.

The days, weeks and terms ahead seem very daunting. Simultaneously I'm feeling extremely excited about being able to get stuck into my work and feasting on knowledge, and also feeling very, very scared that I'll not be able to keep up with certain aspects of the course. Either way, I'll get my kicks I guess- if I'm not challenged, I'm bored, if I am, I stress about it, but I love it really.

Socially, Cambridge is thriving, there really is something for everyone, and many, many cool people. Unfortunately, my college seems to be lacking an indie/alternative representation, and I've been talking to people about rectifying this. Bring on a new society I say...!

Anyway, I should do some work, so hope this keeps you lovely listeners interested in my ramblings.

Listening to: cheesy 80s. Dancing to: Flashdance- What A Feeling - Irene Cara.

[I've ordered the Ladytron album, so when that turns up, a review will be on its way. Stay tuned for that, and the BRMC/Elbow reviews!] Posted: 06-10-05 16:53 :: Permalink: http://ben.corale.co.uk/archive/v1/206.html
