Public information notice A week in which nothing happens tends to be fairly bland indeed. But then they say "a bored person is a boring person". Should that sentiment be believed?

This is the week in which the most interesting item of news was that Robin Cook had died while hill walking, from a heart attack. Quite sad actually: he was one of the (alas) rare MPs (before he quit) that actually stuck to his morals, his ideas, and stood up and questioned those senior to him.

There's also that thing about "boredom eating". I'm off for a snack.
