Gosh
Doesn't time whizz by. With Mother deciding to decorate the living room, an ancient, lonesome Now 29 CD surfaced from behind a unit (thrown away in embarassment perhaps?) and just had to be played. And what classics it contained- REM's What's The Frequency Kenneth, Oasis' Cigarettes And Alcohol, New Order's True Faith ('94)... and the rest. Whigfield. Take That. Classics, I tell you.
Sadly I couldn't find a suitible photo of some rave or other to adorn this entry, but there we go. Use your imaginations to re-create the visions of curtained hair and buzz-cuts (or whatever they were called), baggy tshirts and sweaty torsos. Thankfully I was much too young to join in, of course, but then there are older brothers to play the "delights" of happy hardcore and dodgy house.
A nineties revival anyone? No?
