Afterthoughts The shock of all that happened has sort of finally sunk in now. Travelling into town last night and seeing how everything's just carrying on, but at the moment in a rather subdued way, has brought it down to earth. The brief period of panic trying to get in touch with my dad after I heard the news was not exactly pleasant. Thankfully, he was sitting in his office unfazed eating the danish pastries drafted in to keep the stranded workers of the company happy.

Anyway, I don't normally jump on bandwagons to "commemorate" horrible events like this, but I've been informed of one, which is basically for people to gather in London next week to show solidarity with each other. I've decided to support it by attending. I expect everyone will feel differently about exactly what it is they are showing solidarity for: for me, it'll be basically for the fact that in times of adversity, we can all pull together and help each other. Not something normally encountered in London- from the emergency services and transport workers, to strangers comforting strangers, everyone looked out for each other. Another element is, of course, showing that we simply aren't terrorised by such atrocious acts. It makes us stand taller and stronger.

London goes on, and on, and on... London goes on, and on, and on...
