Spanish songs in Andalucía...
... thankfully no bombs. My recent ten-day stint in the south of Spain proved quite a tonic, so now I'm refreshed and recharged for life back home. The photos should appear in the Photolog soon enough- once I get them back from developing and sort the wheat from chaff. I took two rolls of 36 on the Olympus OM1 SLR (getting geeky about cameras now) I now seem to have acquired completely from my father, so I hope they come out rather pretty- particularly the double exposure and other faffy ones I did.
One thing the holiday did was stoke my passion for language, so enrolling for Spanish lessons seems to be a good idea. If I had the cash, I'd be looking for a language school in Barcelona, but I don't, so I'll have to settle for Croydon's adult education classes. Should be fun I hope.
One odd thing on my return was seeing a tiny article in the Croydon Guardian about my Smallpeice adventure. I'm famous, I tell you; that's the third time I've been journalised. Go me. Alas, fame has not brought with it its bedfellow fortune, and I am still a penniless gap year student. Seriously, I need to be employed. Or be making money somehow.
Talking with Richard, we discussed the idea of becoming eBay whores- selling jars of mist of other such nonsense to people with more shillings than grey matter. Or, and this idea has just occurred to me as I type to you dear readers (I use the plural in hope), Google Ads could provide meagre financial sustenance. I dread to think what ads it would show via content linking with this site, but nevertheless, if I can make this thing popular, the money may well appear. Come, power of Blarney, come to my being and give my fingers the gift of wit and erudicity! Come, you spirits that tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here... ok, maybe that's too far; I hadn't planned on gender reassignment for this :/

The blog author writes I think the press releases they sent out were identical, save for replacing the country of work experience. Mine even said about the three months in Helsinki, teensy bit more than the three weeks I finally got there for! Commented: 11-06-05 15:36
