Brilliantine Mortality I am all a-buzz! Saw the marvellous British Sea Power this evening at the Forum with the lovely oracle-of-music Ian. The set seemed to go on and on and on, but in the best possible sense of continuation. There was a good mix of tracks old and new, and even some completely unrecognisable ones too. This is a band with (hopefully) a long future ahead of them- if tonight was anything to go by, they've certainly got the energy for it! I think tonight's gig was one of the best I've been to.

I acquired a piece of the wicker deer as a souvenir, after it came crashing into the crowd (the boys seemed particularly excitable this evening, perhaps as it was the end of this tour). I think it may be the tail, but I can't be certain.

[Summary of the Venice trip last week will appear soon!]

Oh Deer! Oh Deer!
