What can I say? Why does anyone keep a blog? I guess here I’ll electronically scribble stuff that I don’t mind others reading about. I’d keep a diary under lock and key if it were that private.

This is the second attempt at running a blog, mostly so that I keep track of my life over the next year living and studying in Valencia. I suppose a tagline for the whole affair could be “a boy abroad“. A quick Google revealed a Bedouin Soundtrack track that used to be called “Rude Boy Abroad” (now called “Rude Boy Don’t Cry”), which is about the most appropriate multimedia offering I can provide. YouTube, do the honours please:

And what about me? If you know me, then you probably know enough that you don’t need a list of statistics on here. For those that don’t, I’m a 22-year-old chap from south London, studying in Bristol via Selwyn College, Cambridge. Except for the two semesters of 2008-09, I’ll be in Valencia.

Away from the academic life, I’m largely into music, cinema, travelling, photography, reading, that kind of thing. Oh, and this venture called lobsterfone.com which I heartily recommend you try out. See, this is starting to sound like a CV already.

Anyway, if you’d like to check back at my previous attempt, I’ve archived it. It mostly chronicles the years 2005-06, i.e. my gap year (France/Finland/illness) and my time at Cambridge. Check it out.
